Jennifer Benson-Feero, FNP-BC

With over nine years of nursing experience, Jennifer Benson-Feero, FNP-BC has a Masters of Science in Nursing from Simmons University and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and specializes in Family Medicine.

“I believe in treating the whole patient by using evidence-based practice to develop a mutual plan of care that will ultimately help the patients to live their best lives.”

One of Jennifer’s biggest motivators comes from her years of working on an inpatient unit with trauma patients. “I have seen so many examples of people in their worst times turn around to make complete recoveries and go on to live amazing, full lives. I have always felt a calling to help people. Healthcare is a field that provides an opportunity for me to help people every day and to make meaningful connections along the way.”

Another important aspect of care provided by Jennifer is a focus on mental health. “Our mental health is such a pivotal part of our health, so it is important to take time every day to practice some kind of self-care, whether it be meditation, exercise, or just taking a quick moment just for yourself in order to reset.”

When not in the office Jennifer and her husband spend time with their daughter and two dogs. She grew up in Colorado and still loves to explore the mountains and experience all that the great outdoors have to offer. She loves to travel to explore new places, and enjoys crafting, especially sewing, crocheting and knitting.

Jamie Michelle DiPrimo, APRN-BC, FNP, MSN

Since Jamie Michelle DiPrimo was a little girl, she has always wanted to help people. “I am a second-generation nurse who grew up listening to patient care stories and knew that I wanted to make a positive difference in the lives of others.”

Jamie is licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in Primary, Urgent, Emergency, and Hospital Medicine. “I LOVE taking care of people and have enjoyed every role I've fulfilled. I do thoroughly enjoy primary care as I love building relationships with patients and helping them reach their life and healthcare goals.”

Jamie worked as a nurse in the emergency department for 8 years while she obtained her Masters Degree. Working in the ER helped her to become well prepared to treat patients across their lifespans at different stages of health. Once she obtained her Masters degree, she accepted a Primary Care role in an office with an Internal Medicine and Family Practice Physician.

“We offered primary care, urgent care, and hospital medicine services; as we saw our own patients in the local hospitals. I fell in love with primary care as I became a part of patients’ lives and families. I worked in the primary care office for 4.5 years before I had to make the painstaking decision to leave the practice because I found out I was pregnant with number five. I decided to take a position in the ER where I could work nights and keep the new little bundle of joy home.”

Jamie then worked in an ER at a level 2 trauma center and stroke center throughout the pandemic. In February 2021, she decided to take the plunge and fulfill her dream to move to a new and exciting place, Colorado! She initially took a position at Rose Medical Center in Denver as a Nocturnal Hospitalist which she absolutely loved but the schedule was hard on the family since they had moved to a new state. She eventually found herself at Burrows Internal Medicine.

“I am thrilled to be at Burrow's Internal Medicine and to be back in Primary Care, working with a Doctor who values relationships with patients like I do.

One of the most important things I can share with my patients is that improving your health and wellbeing is your responsibility. As a healthcare provider, I can help guide you in the right direction, but you've got to make it happen! You should eat a well-balanced diet full of fresh fruits and vegetables and get as much exercise as possible to maintain your health. Your body was made to move so get up and use it! If your mobility is limited, you've got to continue to use what you can to keep yourself as strong and mobile as possible.”

Jamie met her husband in nursing school. “When I saw his tenderness and care with patients I knew he was the one. He has been my greatest supporter and we have accomplished so much together as he is a nurse practitioner as well. We are the proud parents of 5 amazing children who keep us extremely busy and provide us with so much joy. Being their mother is the greatest gift and the most honored role I could ever fill. We have transplanted from Central Florida in June 2021 and are embracing everything Colorado has to offer.”

Zeina Dehni, FNP-C
